Technical Sales Engineer, Full Time
CEM Solutions (UK) Ltd. are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to join our dynamic, innovative and growing company.
We are dedicated to providing an outstanding service experience to our customer base and have ambitious targets for broadening our reach in the field of industrial emissions monitoring as we introduce more of our complete CEM systems to a wide range of industries throughout the UK.
We’re looking for a self-starter, able to operate effectively either as part of a team or independently, who is able to work on initiative in supporting the delivery of company objectives. Joining our close-knit team, you will play a key part in taking the business to the next level. The right person will be able to clearly demonstrate self-motivation, enthusiasm and industry knowledge.
Ideally with a background in combustion processes or with instrumentation, candidates will have sound technical skills in addition to being an excellent communicator and the ability to work with customers to identify their key challenges and drivers. Having strong interpersonal skills, the ideal candidate actively enjoys building relationships with new contacts – it is not essential to have worked in a Sales role before.
The Technical Sales Engineer will work alongside the Sales Director, identifying and establishing potential new leads, organising customer visits and preparing tenders, proposals and quotes. Other aspects to the role will be attending trade exhibitions and conferences and providing product education and advice.
Our website acts as a window to the company and this role will involve some work helping to create high quality content for this and other marketing channels which seek to promote the products and services we offer. Analytical skills to monitor lead generation and conversion rates will be required to ensure that sales targets are met.
